It’s garden make-over time with Taunton Transition Town…… we are looking to transform gardens all over Taunton into vegetable and fruit paradise; making growing your own veg a real option in everyones daily life.  TTT started out in Fran Hick’s garden to transform her overgrown patch into productive, life-enhancing piece of  land. Fran will share the patch with two other local transitioners Elena and Nicola to produce their very own locally grown veg (and maybe later fruit).

Led by our very own composting guru Bob Rawle, Fran’s garden now boasts raised beds with hurdles made with locally sourced hazel.  It’s amazing what you can find locally without spending money.

This is a wonderful transformation of my garden.  I get help to do some of the initial hard work and people to share the ongoing work and produce.  What could be better! (Fran Hicks, garden owner)
