The Sustainable Communities Act allows people to demand various actions from government to reverse the worrying national trend of community decline and promote local sustainability.

People and organisations in South Somerset have been at the forefront of the process and have asked Government to ensure that any new-build housing development provides some of its own energy from renewable resources and to improve energy-saving measures in people’s homes.

ACTION: PLEASE HELP URGENTLY:
1) Please write to, or email, Communities Minister, Greg Clark MP, asking him to agree to implement the proposals of South Somerset under the Sustainable Communities Act.
