New share offer for 2014

Brendon Energy’s second share offer has now opened!

This is an opportunity to invest in co-operatively owned, renewable energy schemes that will;

• generate clean, renewable energy and help to fight climate change
• provide free electricity to the community buildings where the power is generated
• finance local community funds
• give a good annual return to investors (5% or significantly more with EIS tax relief)
• put ownership of power production in the hands of local people rather than large multi-national companies

The target for the share offer is £60,000. The closing date of the share offer is the 27th of June 2014.

This will finance three roof mounted solar photovoltaic projects which have already been installed using a short term loan at

• Wiveliscombe Community Centre
• Churchinford Village Hall
• Brompton Regis Village Hall and Community Shop

and a new roof mounted solar photovoltaic scheme at

• Wellington Rugby Club
