Join Sustrans volunteers for a wonderful Go explore with Sustrans family ride following the planets trail to the Sun and help celebrate Sustrans’ 20th anniversary!

Starting in both Bridgwater (YMCA) and Taunton (Coal Orchard) the ride will follow the planets trail to the Sun mid-point at Maunsel lock and run along National Cycle Network route three.

This is a gentle family ride along flat terrain and is self-led. The route is seven miles from Pluto to the Sun, totalling 14 miles with the return route.

Bring a picnic or visit the cafe to enjoy a spot of lunch after handing in your quiz sheets at 1pm.

Event details:

There are two starting points: YMCA, George Williams House, Friarn Avenue, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 3RF and Taunton Car Park, Coal Orchard, Somerset, Taunton, TA1 1JL.

This event will run between 10.30am-3pm.
Please wear suitable clothing for the weather, bring sun protection, waterproofs and something to drink. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
