Taunton Rebellion Day

The local Taunton Extinction Rebellion group held a wonderful samba march through the centre of Taunton on Saturday 6th April (sorry for the late posting) to highlight the fact that humanity is facing a man-made disaster on a global scale; that is climate change.

Old and young gathered to show solidarity that action was needed on climate change now.  The amazing support of ordinary citizens in the local area was heartening.  So many are willing to step up and urge government to act now.

If you want to help campaign for the future of your children and grandchildren then support the local Extinction Rebellion Group (find on facebook or email extinctionrebelliontaunton@riseup.net).  Other groups in the area are doing great work like Transition Wellington (http://ttw.org.uk/), Wivey Action on Climate Change (https://wiveyaction.org.uk/), Transition Athelney (https://www.facebook.com/Transition.Athelney/)
