We all know how important it is keep our woodlands intact in the first place (see Kew Gardens 10 golden rules for restoring forests) but it is also important to plant some trees out there.

The climate action group Possible (once 10:10) are organising an at home tree planting weekend on the 6th and 7th March. Neil Jones the project manager will be planting a tree live on You Tube on Sat 6th March and would like anyone else who can plant a tree to plant along. If you don’t have a garden, don’t worry. Whether it’s joining an online event, mapping tree planting locations for your area, or just discovering which tree fits your personality, there’ll be lots of other ways to get involved.
