The Bath & West Community Energy (BWCE) Fund has awarded £33,300 in funding to 11 Bath and North East Somerset projects.

The annual fund helps local charitable and community organisations in the Bath area reduce carbon emissions and tackle fuel poverty.
The Bath & West Community Energy Company (https://www.bwce.coop/) is a not for profit community benefit society, owned and run by the members of the community which has been running for about 10 years. They have over the years installed 12.35MW of renewable energy, enough to power nearly 4,000 homes, and have reduced carbon emissions to the equivalent of nearly 1,000 residents.
