Taunton Transition Town is pleased to announce that we are finally able to
hold Taunton’s first repair café. This will take place in:
Moose Hall, Tower Lane, Taunton TA1 4AR
Saturday 15 January 2022 from 10am to 12 noon

We have volunteers lined up to help repair your broken electrical equipment,
computers, clothing and textiles, tools, toys, etc… all free of charge (although
donations towards our costs would be welcome). Refreshments will be
available.

The idea behind repair cafes is to help put an end to the throw-away society
and reduce the mountains of waste, thus reducing CO2 emissions and saving
money. You also have the opportunity to see how to repair items for yourself,
whilst enjoying a cuppa and a chat. So bring along your broken items and our
volunteers will do their best to repair them.
