18 satisfied customers had 25 items repaired/sharpened, plus a further 7 items of jewellery and a ceramic plate were taken off site for completion.   A further 11 items were examined, of which 8 were not repairable and 3 needed spare parts for which advice was given.  

Great concept.   Our speaker was fixed in a matter of minutes.

The breakdown was :

• 5   sewing: holes, seams, repairs to coat, duvet cover, jumper and 2 T shirts  
• 8  electrical: 2 toasters, lamp, shredder, speaker, laptop, soldering and rewiring
• 1  necklace plus 7 taken off site (clasps and restringing),
• 9  sharpening: 2 knives, 4 shears and a hedge trimmer
• 2  other: glueing a jewellery box and repairing a radio aerial
• 1 ceramic plate taken offsite for repair

In addition, 5 bicycles were repaired by On Your Bike.

Our next event will be on 13th May, which will be the month of the Big Fix, when records will be collected from repair cafes throughout the country.
