Age of Stupid Screening at The Brewhouse

The Brewhouse Theatre has agreed to screen The Age of Stupid on Sunday 22 November, 6pm, in their main house auditorium (good view, comfy seats).  Tickets cost only £5 and are on sale NOW at the Brewhouse Box Office.  Booking highly recommended!  Huge thanks to Brewhouse staff for being up for this (particulary on a Sunday!). The Bar will be open before and after the film and you are welcome to stay, chat, see old friends and make new ones.  Taunton Transition Town folk will be there with info on what we are doing, and if you/your group would like the chance to share your green stuff too, just let me know. For those of you who haven’t heard of the movie,  Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at old footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? Check out the official website or their action campaign ‘Not Stupid’

And while you are at it, why not get yourself on the Brewhouse eshot list to keep up to (paper free) date with their events.  Just go to http://subscription.thebrewhouse.net/ and do what it says!

  1. We need to have movies like this put on general release at the multiplexes to get the message across.

Well done the Brewhouse and TTT for mustering over 120 people at relatively short notice.
