Landmatters have agreed to the possibility of a group wwoof type activity at the  beginning August. This would be for a week. The date is to be confirmed once we establish what sort of interest. Numbers will be limited though. People coming would need to camp and bring their own tents. There is a communal volunteer yurt for kitchen/dining needs. It is based near Allaleigh, Totnes. You do not have be a member of of WWOOF to take part.

WWOOF stands for World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms and is a charitable organisation which promotes hands-on experience on organic farms, gardens, and smallholdings so people can learn about organic growing and low-impact lifestyles http://www.wwoof.org.uk/ Volunteers contribute help to a host for an agreed duration and number of hours in return for the opportunity to learn, and food and accomodation.
